10 Best PC Games I have played till date

Here I have listed the best PC games I have played yet. Please keep in mind that it is my personal opinion and I would love to hear yours down in the comments below. Hope you enjoy reading this.

10. Sleeping Dogs

Oh boy! Did I have a ton of fun as an undercover cop in the brutal criminal underworld of the Hong Kong triads!! The story was captivating, with awesome gameplay mechanics, specially the gruesome and satisfying combat. It felt like playing through a Hollywood action movie.

9. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

How far can you stray from home as a pirate and forge out a sustainable life before the odds come overpowering you? That’s the question which remains close to heart of Assassin’s creed 4. Assassin’s Creed 4 has kept me gladly occupied longer than any other game of the series because of the vast open world, the intriguing characters and the momentum they bring to the story. Just about everywhere you look, I uncovered valuable assets, sunken ships, underwater caverns and so much more. Black Flag managed to weave a surprisingly self-contained yarn with strong ties between the protagonist, Edward Kenway and the other great characters.

8. Batman Arkham City

Being in the shoes of the caped crusader is a dream come true and the Arkham lineup of games took me as close as I can be to realizing that dream. Arkham City stood out in the series because of its great story and the gameplay basically took everything from the previous game and improved and expanded. The combat was much more fluid and with various gadgets at play, the brawls were elevated to an artistry of acrobatics. One cannot help but feel nostalgic when they find themselves defending the crime-infested streets of Gotham city, which so far has been imagined in books, comics, and films, being reincarnated in the game.

7. Call Of Duty Modern Warfare trilogy

"...all you need to change the world is one good lie and a river of blood..." This series describes Call of Duty at its best. The well written characters, mesmerizing scripted moments, awesome gameplay and the grand scheme of events, it had all of it going for it.

6. Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain

One word: Genius. Hideo Kojima delivers his last masterpiece in the Metal Gear series in the form of The Phantom Pain. Though clearly incomplete, it still housed 50 hours of content with great graphics and crazy unique gameplay. Plus getting the real ending and "mind-blowing-ness" it brought made the game completely worth it for me.

5. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

This game literally gave me a playground where I could live my medieval fantasies of killing dragons, joining guilds, and many more. It redefined what freedom in a game world can be. Also, if I ever found anything missing or not according to my tastes, there always was this huge modding community for Skyrim to cater to those needs.

4. Mass Effect trilogy

This was the first game series I played which made me realize "Wow! Games can tell stories of this calibre too". The compelling characters, the bleak setting, the beautiful soundtrack all came together to tell the story of one Shepard who saved his sheep.

3. Grand Theft Auto V

If someone were to ask me which one game to keep in their rig, I wouldn't think twice before suggesting GTA V. This game serves it all, cars check, guns check, highly detailed open world check and much more. The single player is enjoyable in itself but for me the real fun happens online when me and my crew bust down the doors of the biggest government facility or perform a heist in the Diamond Casino or just take a ride through the countryside admiring the sunset in the horizon.

2. Red Dead Redemption 2

Yet another one of Rockstar's games. There are no words that hasn’t fell short at describing how good this game is. That’s right. Rockstar, again, steamrolles back into the Wild West with their second game of the RDR franchise, Red Dead Redemption 2. This game carries Rockstar's legacy of extreme details but what makes it special is the perfectly believable and flawed characters and their development throughout the beautifully grounded story. I found myself caring for the characters in the rag-tag band (specially my horse), something which I rarely do in Rockstar's games. The graphics is breathtaking and many screenshots would successfully fool anyone into thinking its a movie.

1. The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt

It is my favorite game. Period. Does that mean its perfect? Not at all. In its own way this game made me realize the state of its grim world. Made me care for the memorable characters and thereby affect my choices and kept me mesmerized with its beautiful story-telling throughout the whole campaign and even after that. Even the side missions had their own story to tell, every NPC their own life to live. It had a world which felt so lived in that I said goodbye to real life when I played it. It had an overwhelming amount of things to discover but every bit was worth it. None of it felt bloated to me. Even now, after 5 years of its release I discover new things and get rewarded with rich and unique experiences that's completely engaging.
